Static Movement’s Literary Foray anthology, edited by Chris Bartholomew, is in print (check out that gorgeous cover!). My story, Unspoken Bonds (short listed in the 2009 Tom Howard / John H. Reid Short Story Contest, revised for publication) is one of the 39 stories/poems published, along with Sean Monaghan, Jessica Bell, Leah Pugh, and many more. You can purchase a copy here, and it will soon be available at on-line retailers.
Unspoken Bonds depicts the struggles of a soldier returning home from war to take care of his indifferent father suffering from late-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Though they never break through each other’s walls, they hold true to their unspoken bond as father and son.
You can also see other new releases at Static Movement’s affiliate bookstore, Pill Hill Press, such as Hit Men, School Days: Tales with an Edge, Dark Romance From the Far Side, Christmas Fear, Something from the Attic, and Powers.
Thanks, Chris!
