A Reader's Heaven, Aoife's Kiss, The Glass Coin, works in progress

A few things—blogs, CONTEST, and publications

There wasn’t much activity on my blog this summer as I was busy constructing my plot to take over the world…well at least my household. Here are few things cooking in my cauldron:

First, Paul Phillips gave me a grand entry on his new blog, A Reader’s Heaven, a place for Indie authors to share their works. There are some great authors listed: Icy Sedgwick, Paul D. Brazill, Angel Zapata, Carrie Clevenger, Nigel Bird…I encourage you to check them out.

I have a poem up at The Glass Coin, Black*Fuchsia, if you didn’t catch it on my blog last summer.

I’m pleased to announce my story, “The Wall of Never Doubt,” has been accepted for the June 2012 issue of Aoife’s Kiss.

My anthology collection, “Of the Night,” will soon be available in both paperback and Kindle. And for the month of October, anyone who posts a flash fiction (1,000 words or less) piece on their own blog containing elements of horror and then sends me that link to put on my blog, will be entered into a drawing to win a free copy of my book. Names will be listed along the sidebar – this way, everyone will be a part of the blog traffic.

I have two other stories, “The Dead River,” and “Robot Mommy,” which I’m trying hard to glamour editors with, hopefully they will be out soon, but in the meantime, I’m working on a few other short stories and my werewolf book, still without a name, which actually drives me insane. Something about having a solid title that keeps me focused and penning.

  1. I hadn't realized Paul had been showcasing people's novels. I'll be sure to pop over there. I've been terrible about keeping up with sites this summer. Funny you mentioned having a hard time coming up with a title for the werewolf novel, I've been having a difficult time titling stories too! It'll come. Looking forward to the short story antho!

  2. You continue to be a writing beast! Good luck placing all the work you've created. Now for a completely random title suggestion for your werewolf book…"Hair Trigger."

  3. You've been busy! The cauldron is bubbling over.I totally agree with the "no title" dilemma. Having one anchors the story for me. Without it, I drive myself crazy trying to come up with ideas (or crazier, I should say).
