Great build up of suspense, Erin. The 'counting the eyes' is such a frightening phrase and creates tone for the whole story.Great work!

Nice suspenseful tale. I love the little details that add to the whole, like the dialogue between the characters. I read it this morning and I found it creeping back into my thoughts throughout the day.
